The FT01 is one of the unique flashlight from Astrolux and first to have 21700 battery on their lineup. FT01 uses XHP50.2 emiter with a maximum output of 2215 lumens. It has an orange peel reflector producing a nice floody and even beam pattern with somewhat throwy and large hotspot. This has two switches, a tail switch with momentary on for turning on and off and a side switch for changing modes. The user interface is quiete easy and simple to use, just press the side switch to cycle thru modes, double click the switch and you have instant access to turbo. By pressing and holding the side switch you will have the hidden modes such as Strobe and hold it again for SOS and Beacon respectively. On the side switch there is breathing light and battery led indicator, this was nice feature of this flashlight so you will be aware when the battery is low already and have it replace or charge it. One more nice feature of this flashlight is that, it has micro usb charging port, makes you charge the battery quickly.

This Astrolux FT01 has a very nice build quality makes it a good all around flashlight. It can be use as emergency flashlight at your home and when you are outdoors.
